Webinar

Gender Bias in Medical Care

January 20, 2021

By: Angela DeRosa, DO, MBA, CPE

Start off the new year with a webinar that will challenge and empower you! Dr. Angela DeRosa dives into the subject of women’s hormone health, and the attempts being made to limit the treatment of your menopausal patients.

Gender bias within hormone replacement therapy has been prevalent for decades, and the circumstances surrounding this bias continue to worsen. A billion-dollar industry has been built on dozens of testosterone replacement therapies and medications to treat andropause and erectile dysfunction for men; women have been less fortunate.

Dr. DeRosa will discuss this prevalent bias, the recent NASEM report and the well-orchestrated attempt by the pharmaceutical industry to eliminate bioidentical hormones. She will elaborate on the issues brought to light in her recent, two part, article published in International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding.

An important webinar for practitioners who currently treat women in their practice and those looking to add new services this year.

This webinar is intended for prescribers. If you are a prescriber and would like to watch the webinar, please fill out the form below. You will be re-directed to the recording after successful completion of form.
