Anastrozole (an-AS-troe-zole) is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. It may be used to prevent the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. It may be used to prevent the conversion of androstenedione to estrone. It may be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
