What is Belmar Pharmacy?
Belmar Pharmacy is our 503A compounding pharmacy, specializing in producing compounded oral, sublingual, and topical dosage forms since 1985. Today, we operate six 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding facilities across the country. These are our traditional compounding pharmacies where we make individualized formulations, following a compounding prescription that is written for a specific patient. As we’ve grown, we have expanded our dosage forms and now compound sterile injectables for testosterone, GLPs, peptides, and more.

We believe Belmar has the highest level of quality standards of any compounding pharmacy in the U.S. Every member of our team cares about the quality of our medications and the health of your patients. We comply strictly with all the regulatory standards for our industry, established by:
- State boards of pharmacy, which regulate all 503A pharmacies
- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which has oversight for the safety of all active pharmaceutical ingredients
- The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), which oversees the controlled substances used in compounded preparations
- USP General Chapter <797> provides guidelines for sterile compounding with a focus on quality in handling, storage, packaging, and transport of medications
- USP General Chapter <795> provides guidelines for the prevention of contamination and potency variance, preparation process, beyond-use dates, and stability for non-sterile compounding
- USP <800> provides guidance about the handling of hazardous drugs in the healthcare setting—Belmar met the current standards long before it was required
Our policies even exceed these industry standards. Our ingredients and compounds are continuously tested and retested, randomly by an independent lab, from initial sourcing through distribution.
